Colour mobile VMS will deploy portable solar powered 4 colour variable message signs on major routes into this year’s Bakewell Show which attracts over 65,000 visitors a year.

The COLOUR solar signs will be deployed prior to the event to give drivers advance warning of possible areas of congestion and information on the park & ride scheme.

During the event the signs which can be updated immediately via SMS or our web based application will be used in support of the traffic management plan and to provide event & sponsor Information at the centre ring inside the showground.

The visual impact of colour on our variable message signs combined with the flexibility offered by their mobility remote communications and use of solar power  significantly increase the number of applications where variable message signs can have an immediate positive effect at events of this nature.
